I’ve been doing such a bad job at keeping up with posts. I think it is mostly because I spend my day on a computer, so the last thing I want to do is spend my night on a computer. Either way, I’m not a very good blogger right now. Which is funny because I do that as a job. Oh boy.
This weekend, Nate and I decided to have a full on Sunday funday. Instead of eating a ginormous breakfast, we went for a hike, got a fancy pants dinner, and saw a movie. When I told Nate that I had never been to Elephant Rock State Park, we decided to brave a long drive down highway 67 and go together.
While we drove an hour and a half to the park, and after we stopped off at a nifty little diner, we made a pact. We really have the best time when we drive juuuust a little bit farther out of our way to places outside St. Louis. So, we decided to shoot for at least four hikes a month. This is something I really, really want us to live up to.
He asked me to take this picture.
I sort of can’t believe this place exists in the middle of Missouri. It was so beautiful and it was great to get away for a bit to see some beauty.
Hopefully I’ll get better at this and will make some posts of our future hikes!
